Scarlett

Founder & Master Tooth Gem Technician

After discovering tooth gems in 2023, Scarlett was instantly obsessed. So she set out to bring the scene to the South Island - training under Australia’s leading tooth gem specialist @sparklebymaya, and building Jazzy Gnashers from the ground up.

Since then, she’s worked on over 150 clients and run multiple pop-ups around Queenstown, continuously refining her technique and curating her offering. In 2025, she introduced her temporary ‘Baby Gems’ after spotting a gap in the market for people who are a little indecisive, nervous about committing, or not looking to spend big (relatable).

Her approach is all about being inclusive, non-judgemental, and genuinely comfortable. No pressure - just a space where clients can show up as they are and leave with something that feels like them. She’s known for being thorough, from hygiene and application to aftercare and expectations. Every set is designed to actually work for the client - considering placement, style, and longevity.

Whether clients want every step explained or prefer to just relax and trust the process, they’re in good hands.

Holly

Client Relations (Self-Appointed)

Originally from Riverton but raised on the streets of Cromwell, Holly joined the team with zero experience but a strong sense of entitlement. Since then, she has become our resident emotional support specialist and part-time chaos coordinator. While she has no formal dental qualifications (yet), Holly excels in:

  • boosting client confidence

  • playing hard to get

  • reducing pre-gem nerves

  • looking adorable while doing absolutely nothing useful

You may spot her lurking nearby or plotting something (intentions yet to become clear).

Payment Conditions: Holly is paid exclusively in Churu sachets and catnip biscuits. There is an ATM / currency converter on site for tips, but acceptance is not guaranteed.

Note: We can absolutely cater for anyone with cat allergies. Holly is never allowed in the studio room and is designated to our Reception Desk (under the couch) instead. Your appointment space is kept completely separate, clean, and controlled at all times.
